DoJo Rules


  1. Students shall refer to head instructor as Sensei, assistant instructors as Shidoin and senior students as Sempai.

  2. Higher ranked belts will assist lower ranked belts in their training.

  3. Lower ranked belts will follow the instruction of the higher ranked belts in the dojo.

  4. No talking during class unless permitted by the head instructor.

  5. Shoes are restricted on the dojo floor during class.

  6. Students shall bow when entering and leaving the dojo.

  7. Students shall not interrupt the head instructor while he is teaching (stand at attention until acknowledged).

  8. While class is in process, no student shall enter without the permission of the head instructor.

  9. Students must wear proper uniforms or approved dressings at all times.

  10. No rings, watches or other jewelry may be worn during class.

  11. Never criticize other schools or styles of the martial arts.
