Sensei Alphfonzo Pearsall -- Sensei Alphfonzo is a believer in tradional training and hard work. Raised by parents of strict southern values, he is no stranger to discipline and dilligence. Sensei Alphfonzo began Aikido training in 1982 at the Brooklyn Aikido Club in Brooklyn, New York under Sensei Luqman where he studied until reaching the rank of third ryu. Sensei Alphfonzo's desire to further his martial arts education in weaponry and tradition took him to Massachusetts where he became a dashi (live-in student) for the next two years to Senseis Paul Sylvain and Lorranine Diann, both fourth-degree black belts who studied in Japan's Hombu Dojo with Master Chiba Sensei, who is a direct disciple of Aikido's founder, Morihei Uyesheba. Sensei Alphfonzo has undergone intense training with such weapons as the iaito (samurai sword), jo (52-inch short staff), the tonto (knife) and the broken (wooden sword). He has also attended instructors' training under Sensei Sylvain.
Professor Darryl (World) King has over 15 years of experience in the martial arts. He is a seventh-degree black belt in Sanuces Ryu Jiu-Jitsu.
